1we hold these truths to be self-evident
2that all men are created equal
3that they are endowed by their creator with certain unaliable rights
4that among these are life,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
5that to secure these rights,governments are instituted among men
6deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed
7that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends
8it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it
9and to institute new government
10laying down its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form
11as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness
