We hold thesetruths to be self-evident
that allmen are created equal
that they areendowed by their creator with certain unaliable rights
that among these arelife,liberty, and the pursuit of happiness
that to securethese rights,governments are instituted among men
deriving their justpowers from the consent of the governed
that whenever anyform of government becomes destructive of these ends
it is the rightof the people to alter or to abolish it
and toinstitute new government
