Glossary of Terms for Types of Performers

Ectomorpha performer with a lean and delicate body build who has power and strength and who dominates in endurance sports and gymnastics
Endomorpha pear-shaped performer with excess body fat which hampers ability in agility or speed sports and running, but is perfect for pure strength sports like power lifting

Endurancethe ability to perform an activity (aerobic, anaerobic, local muscular or speed endurance) for a long period of time
Aerobic Endurancethe ability to transport sufficient oxygen to working muscles during sustained exercise
Anaerobic Endurancethe ability to perform shorter, high-intensity exercises that don’t rely on oxygen to be completed

Serial Skillsthe performer carries out a group of discrete skills put together to make a new and complex movement
