Object Pronoun Order

first the subject comes first, such as je, tu, il, elle, nous, vous, qui, ils, elles, etc such as "JE mange"
then the reflexive pronoun, me, te, se, nous, vous, etc such as "Tu ME manque"
then the "the" words, le, la, les,
then y,
then en,
AND THEN to the conjugated verb, such as "tu PARLES" and such

par exemple
il me les montre = he shows them to me
the "me" comes before "les"

je le lui ai donné = i gave it to him
le comes before lui

this will make waaayyy more sense if you read below...

y - there

The pronoun "y" (pronounced ee) replaces any place introduced by a preposition such as à, au, aux, à la, sur, sous, dans, devant, en, etc. Also replaces things/ideas (NOT people), that start with a preposition like that.
Notice that the object pronoun is put in a very different spot than from English.
