Cellular Phone Typing

edit

Summary

This page is intended to help you memorize how to type text into a cell phone without looking.

This will be accomplished by memorizing how to type each letter. We'll start out easy (by memorizing the rows) and then build up to it.

Layout

This is the layout for most cell phone keypads. Take a moment to look it over.

1(___) 2(ABC) 3(DEF)
4(GHI) 5(JKL) 6(MNO)
7(PQRS) 8(TUV) 9(WXYZ)

Note that to type A you press the 2 key. To type B you press 2 key twice. To type C you press the 2 key three time.

First letters - by row

The first step will be to memorize the first letters on each key, by row. You may wish to scroll the above table out of view. Click the first (memorize) link and go through the table, then do the 2nd column.
